Coin Purse 口金包

In my previous post, I shared some pictures of the coin purses that I have made.

Today I'm going to introduce the beautiful fabrics that I used for this gorgeous purse. The main fabric that is in front of this purse is from Tilda's Autumn/Winter 2015's collection. It's called Sofia Blue. I believe you can easily get it from your local quilting and patchwork shops. I particularly love to shop Tilda's fabric in Bernina Malaysia. They have a complete series of the Tilda's collection. Beautiful fabrics and nice people. How many of you actually know about this brand, Tilda? It was actually founded by a Norwegian designer Tone Finnager in 1999 aged 25. She's known for its whimsical and native characters in the form of animals and dolls.

Now, come to the side of the purse. I used the Home Essentials collection from RJR by Robyn Pandolf. Robyn is a successful fabric designer for over 10 years now. In terms of choosing the right frame for your design, make sure you measure the width of the frame from one end to the other end. Your paper pattern should have mentioned in it.

Stitch n Sing is back after three years!

My dear bloggers, I'm back!

Stitch n Sing is back
I was in hibernation for three years due to relocating, performances, giving birth and baby sitting! I'm finally back in my BLOG! My life was full of excitement and blessings for the past three years in Malaysia. Yes, I moved back to Malaysia with my family couple of years ago. I'm truly blessed as my beloved husband bought me a Bernina B780 and in the same time I gave birth to a second baby too!

I love this machine so much. It helps me a lot in my sewing and quilting! Here are my recent sewing.

I'm in love doing pouches recently.

G.Caccini pouch

I have made another pouch from Jenna's tutorial. I named this pouch as G. Caccini pouch. G.Caccini is an Italian composer.

This pouch is made up by using the paper piecing technique. You can get the pattern and the paper piecing tutorial from The Sometimes Crafter. Thanks Christina for sharing this lovely paper piecing block with us.

Christmas is around the corner. Do you know what to buy for your children, family and friends? Why not try this out?

L. Einaudi Lens Pouch

My husband has been asking for a pouch from me for a long time. Finally, I have made a pouch for his new camera lens. This camera lens pouch is designed by a photographer for photographers. Thank you Ayumi for the tute. I have modified the pouch into a quilted camera lens pouch. Therefore, it's slightly different as Ayumi's one. The pouch is big enough to carry a 50mm or 60mm prime lens with its lens hood attached. The double draw strings give instant and secure closure. The pouch is lined with lint free fabric to minimise dust and fibres collecting in the lens elements. My husband likes it so much and ask for more!
