Coin Purse 口金包

In my previous post, I shared some pictures of the coin purses that I have made.

Today I'm going to introduce the beautiful fabrics that I used for this gorgeous purse. The main fabric that is in front of this purse is from Tilda's Autumn/Winter 2015's collection. It's called Sofia Blue. I believe you can easily get it from your local quilting and patchwork shops. I particularly love to shop Tilda's fabric in Bernina Malaysia. They have a complete series of the Tilda's collection. Beautiful fabrics and nice people. How many of you actually know about this brand, Tilda? It was actually founded by a Norwegian designer Tone Finnager in 1999 aged 25. She's known for its whimsical and native characters in the form of animals and dolls.

Now, come to the side of the purse. I used the Home Essentials collection from RJR by Robyn Pandolf. Robyn is a successful fabric designer for over 10 years now. In terms of choosing the right frame for your design, make sure you measure the width of the frame from one end to the other end. Your paper pattern should have mentioned in it.

Stitch n Sing is back after three years!

My dear bloggers, I'm back!

Stitch n Sing is back
I was in hibernation for three years due to relocating, performances, giving birth and baby sitting! I'm finally back in my BLOG! My life was full of excitement and blessings for the past three years in Malaysia. Yes, I moved back to Malaysia with my family couple of years ago. I'm truly blessed as my beloved husband bought me a Bernina B780 and in the same time I gave birth to a second baby too!

Sewing machine - Brother or Bernina?

I'm back after 7 months!!! Yes, my little boy is now 7 months old. I just got back from my home town, Malaysia for Chinese New Year celebration. How good to be with my family again! We had lots of good time and good food!

Well, it's time for me to get back to my sewing and singing!
I think my sewing machine is giving me quite a lot of problems recently. I need to get a new machine. Shall I go for Bernina or stick to my favourite brand - Brother? Any recommendation? I would like to buy a brand new quilting machine.

What machine are you using ?

More baby quilts

Hey, I'm back again to my blog! The reason I left this blog for long time because I was so busy with my life! huh! I made few baby quilts, I did my "Life in the UK test", attending antenatal and pilate classes etc....  Here are the quilts that I have made.

I made this quilt out of Riley Blake Designs: Fox Trails by doohikey designs.
I love this fabric line so much ..... I bought this fabric from The Sproutz Store on Etsy. They are doing CLEARANCE SALE at the moment. Quickly grab some fabrics from this store before the sale goes!

Look at this adorable car seat quilt! Well, the two little toys are not my babies! My husband put the two little toys in the picture as the model for the car seat quilt! The fabric line that I used was the Peak Hour by Kellie Wulfsohn from Riley Blake Designs. You can buy this fabric from The Sproutz Store. They have a great selection of Riley Blake fabrics. You can get the tutorial of this design from Moda Bake Shop by Jennie of Clover & Violet
